Integrated Simulators

Powered by OLGA

Most dynamic process simulators used in the upstream oil and gas industry today have established links to OLGA. Dynamic Process Simulators with OLGA integration include:

  • D-SPICE/Kongsberg
  • ASSETT/Kongsberg
  • HYSYS/Aspen Tech
  • UniSim® Design/Honeywell
  • INDISS/RSI
  • DYNSIM/INVENSYS
  • OmegaLand/Omega Simulations

In excess of 150 simulators have been integrated with OLGA to investigate and show the well, pipeline and process dynamic interaction. From complex field networks to single tie-ins, OLGA combines fast and robust and the high accuracy required for dynamic modelling. Typically, these are:

  • Engineering Simulator (ES), including process simulator and OLGA model, used all through the design phase and for preparation through to production start-up.
  • Operator Training Simulator (OTS), a process system, control and safety system simulator including instructor station and operator stations. OLGA is used to emulate the dynamic behavior of wells and pipelines. The speed requirements are typically 2x to 5x real-time for the models.
  • Production/Pipeline Management System (PMS), Production System Simulator (PSS), Operator Guidance Tool (OGT) or other names of the same application, including process simulators, OLGA model, dedicated GUI, tuning system, various applications and other associated software. See OLGA Online for details. Speed requirements are typically 20x to 200x real-time.

OLGA Run-time

OLGA Run-Time is a version of OLGA for connection to 3rd party simulators and online systems (called Simulators) in run time mode without model configuration, and where the license is designated one specific projects and specific simulators.

The OLGA Run-Time license is not limited to a geographical user site (i.e. can be accessed from any location world wide), but runs the model on a designated computer.
OLGA Run-Time License is a version of OLGA  for connection to 3rd party simulators and online systems (called Simulators) in run time mode. (No model configuration allowed).
